Official Stage 20 of the 2027 Tour starts in Maubourguet and finishes in Libourne — a long flat day before Paris. Pure Gardères sits in Monlezun, close enough for an easy start-town morning and a calm evening back on the estate. Your race-week day
1. Spend a day of the Tour the Gers way: coffee and birdsong at dawn, the roar of the peloton by mid-morning, and a long table under the oaks by nightfall.
2. Drive to the start — or the roadside — Maubourguet is a short hop for the departure village buzz. Prefer a quieter early view? Aim for an early roadside spot near Plaisance-du-Gers (confirm the exact route nearer the day).
3. Home for poolside evenings — While the race finishes in Libourne, you’re back under the oaks — swim, long table, live music in the gardens as the sun sets.

Tour by day, Marciac nearby

Marciac, home of the famous Jazz in Marciac festival, is just a short drive from Pure Gardères.

Saturday night, we celebrate. Join us for a party at Pure Gardères from 8 PM till 10 PM to mark the occasion, with a live DJ set and your hostess, Isobel Pearson, at the decks.

How far is Pure Gardères from the Stage 20 start?
Maubourguet is about 15–20 minutes by car from Pure Gardères (Monlezun). Exact timing depends on race-day road closures — leave early and check local advice closer to 24 July 2027.

Is Marciac on the route?
The stage passes near the Marciac area; it does not go through the village centre. Use Maubourguet for the start, or an early roadside point such as Plaisance-du-Gers once the official map is locked.

Where does the stage finish?
Libourne — a long flat day after the start. Most guests watch early, then return to Pure Gardères for the evening rather than chasing the finish.
